This is the first time a Japanese female chef has been ranked in the list.
été has been voted into the 51-100 list of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2021, presented in association with S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna.

Message from Chef Natsuko Shoji:
It is a great honour for me to become the first Japanese female chef to be ranked in Asia's best restaurants.
This has been my dream, and I believe that even with a small restaurant like été, I can still create a masterpiece that the world recognises as one of the best. It does not come easy, it takes hard work and perseverance, and I cannot be more proud to have fulfilled this dream of mine. I will keep on putting up great work for my beloved guests.
We will continue to do our best to create a new world for female chefs in Japan.
