été × Girls Don’t Cry “A Bridge to The Next Generation”

The collaboration between the two artists has continued since 2020. This time, the focus is on the traditional Japanese handicraft of over 400 years of history, namely, the porcelain produced in the center of the town of Oda, Saga Prefecture.

The design was inspired by the story of a customer who had purchased one of our previous collaboration items, a chocolate package made of paper containers, and had treasured it.
The finished product is a fusion of street culture and traditional Japanese techniques. The smooth curves of the bitten heart, the beautiful green glaze and the gold color, created by each artisan by hand, give the product a playful yet elegant appearance.

Message from Chef Natsuko Shoji:
The culinary industry has been hit hard by the Corona disaster and the serious problem of a drastic reduction in the number of cooks and farmers due to the extreme violence of the disaster.
We hope that this new announcement with VERDY-kun will help to spread the word about Japan's masterpieces to as many people around the world as possible, and to increase the number of next-generation cooks and chefs.

< Message from VERDY >
I have collaborated with Natsuko many times and this time we have come up with something that I would never have thought of on my own!
We hope it will be a gift for your loved ones! We also recommend it as a holiday season gift or to put black beans in for New Year.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Association for The Association for the Promotion of Traditional Craft Industries.
