Kiuchi Brewery × Natsuko Shoji Unveil “Bé-Gin,” an Upcycled Craft Gin
Kiuchi Brewery and Natsuko Shoji present "Bé-Gin," a craft gin distilled from bread that was destined to be discarded.
At Tiffany Blue Box Café by Natsuko Shoji in Ginza, Tokyo, the making of the sandwiches leaves trimmings of bread behind. These became the base of the gin, developed with Kiuchi Brewery over the course of a year. Its botanical is Fukure mikan, an Ibaraki citrus seldom brought to market for its many seeds and scarce flesh. The logo and packaging, by Gugi Akiyama, take the form of a loaf as their motif.
Bé-Gin is served only as an original cocktail at the café, and is not sold by the bottle. We invite you to enjoy a glass in Ginza. Full details may be found via the link below.
