The Privacy Policy (herein referred to as “this policy”) of été Co., Ltd (herein referred to as “our Company”) concerns the handling of user information, including personal information about users, on this website (herein referred to as “this site”).

    As stipulated in the Google Analytics Terms of Service, the aforementioned providers will not provide user information to third parties without our consent. However, except in the following cases:
• When Google determines that disclosure of user information is required by law.
• When Google determines that access to, preservation of, and disclosure of your information to third parties is reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Google, our users, or the public.
• When providing user information to third parties who perform tasks on behalf of Google under strict restrictions.

5. Provision to third parties

We will not provide personal information of the user to third parties without obtaining the prior consent of the user. However, this does not apply in the following cases where it is necessary to provide personal information to a third party.

1. When it is necessary for the Company to outsource all or part of the handling of personal information to achieve a particular purpose of use
2. When personal information is provided in the process of a business succession due to a merger or other reasons
3. When personal information is provided to business partners or information collection module providers in accordance with the provisions highlighted in Paragraph 4

8. Disclosure of personal information

When a user requests disclosure of personal information based on the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act, we will disclose it to the user without delay after confirming that the request is from the user himself/herself. (If the personal information does not exist, we will notify the user.) However, this does not apply if the Company is not obligated to disclose it under the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws. Do note that we charge a fee (800 yen per case) for the disclosure of personal information.

9. Correction and suspension of use of personal information

When the user requests:
(1) a correction of the content based on the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act because he/she believes that the personal information is not true, and (2) beyond the scope of the purpose of use announced beforehand, the suspension of use based on the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act due to the fact that the information is being handled or that it has been collected by deceptive or other wrongful means.
We will, after confirmation, conduct the necessary investigation without delay, and based on the results, correct the content of personal information or stop using it, and notify the user to that effect. In addition, should we decide not to correct or suspend its use, we will notify the user to that effect.

If the Company is requested by the user to delete the user’s personal information, and if the Company deems that it is necessary to comply with the request, the Company will confirm that the request is from the user himself/herself before deleting the information and notifying the user to that effect.

Provisions 9-1 and 9-2 do not apply if the Company is not obligated to correct, etc., or suspend the use, etc., under the Personal Information Protection Law or other laws and regulations.

11. Procedures for changing the Privacy Policy

When deemed necessary, we will change this policy. However, should this policy be amended in a manner that requires, under the prevailing laws and regulations, the consent of the user, the amended policy will then apply only to users who have consented to the amendment prescribed by the Company. In addition, when changing the policy, the Company will notify the user of the timing and content of the revised policy by displaying it on the Company’s website or other appropriate methods.
